Fifth Graders Build Tipi

For the fourth year in a row, fifth graders at King Elementary took part in an unforgettable team building activity.  Students worked together to create a traditional Native American Tipi with help from Mike “Marsh” Halvik, a Naturalist from the Boone Y Camp.  This activity is a great way for students to learn about authentic Native American history as well as learn the importance of working together towards the same goal.
