King Elementary was represented by two students at the district Gifted/Talented Spelling Bee. Third grader, Aleena Tran made it through four rounds and fourth grader, Dwayne Ellis III made it through five rounds.
A group of fourth and fifth graders gave a presentation on Friday, February 27th to four judges from Wells Fargo. The presentation was for African-American Legacy. Students researched and presented information about different African-American athletes who have made an impacted American culture over the last 100 years.
King Elementary students were challenged by librarian, Ms. Phanfil to write book reports. Every student that wrote a book report was invited to an ice cream party in the library.

King Elementary celebrated 27 students who had perfect attendance during the second trimester of the school year. All students were entered into a drawing for a chance to win a free bike.
