I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Drama and Theatre for Youth from University of Northern Iowa and received my Masters in Social Work from Indiana University. I previously worked as a school-based therapist in Indianapolis. I love having the opportunity through this role to get to know children and families while helping them learn tools to thrive. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, and curling up with my cat and a good book.

I live in Des Moines with my 3 kids who are in 6th, 5th, and 3rd grade and our dog named Sawyer. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, going on hikes, and watching movies.
