Family Fun Night


Come join us for Family Fun Night on Thursday, November 1st 4:30-6:30! It will be a night full of food, games, and activities. See you there!  

First Day “Clap In” Kicks Off School Year


King Elementary’s “Clap In” didn’t lack smiles, high fives, or fun thanks to the group of community members that spent their morning spreading cheer and encouragement to students, teachers and staff for the start of the 2018-19 school year.

The school bell times at King will change with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Our new start time is 7:30 AM and we will dismiss at 2:25 PM, with a 75 minute early dismissal on Wednesdays. ISU’s “Principal” Renews Promise to King, Moulton


The “principal” of Iowa State University, Wendy Wintersteen, visited King Elementary Thursday morning to reiterate the promise of the ISU 4U Promise program that benefits students at both King and Moulton elementary schools.

Global Gala 2018


King Elementary celebrated Global Gala on Thursday March 22nd.   The evening was a celebration of many different cultures that make up the King Community. See more pictures on Flickr!

Green Eggs


During Read Across America, students at King Elementary were served GREEN eggs with their lunch.  The eggs were mixed with spinach.  All students also received a free book to take home.   See more pictures on Flickr!
