It’s Good To Be King
Once a month, King students and staff celebrate positive behavior with It’s Good To Be King. Each month’s celebration revolves around a different theme. In September, staff turned the gym and atrium into a carnival for the celebration. In October, students went bowling with pumpkins.
For November’s celebration, students took part in “Minute to Win It” style games. The games included Hoop de Loop – rolling a hula hoop in hopes of surrounding an orange cone, Card Ninja – throwing cards across the room and into a basket, Breakfast Scramble – completing a puzzle made out of cereal boxes, A Bit Dicey – seeing how many dice can be stacked without falling, and a crowd favorite, Junk in the Trunk – trying to shake six ping pong balls out of a tissue box that is attached to their back.
