Hatching Up Some Learning

First graders at King Elementary are not only hatching learning, they are also hatching chickens!  As part of the science instruction, students are learning about the different variables that determine if a chicken egg will hatch.  Aleena Tran took a little bit of time during independent reading to share a story with the developing chickens.  Over the next few weeks, students should start hearing the sounds of cracking eggs and hungry chicks.
