King Elementary 5th graders visited the Boone Y Camp on April 23rd.  Students spent the day hiking, exploring the stream and learning about different types of environments.

King Elementary’s Half Pint Poets performed for the first time in front of an audience during Family Fun Night on April 23rd.  See more pictures from the performance on the Run DSM blog.  

DMPS will again offer breakfast and lunch over the summer months to children 18 and younger. The number of sites has grown, and so have the number of meals served. Last summer, DMPS staff fed children 28,722 breakfasts and 79,698 lunches. DMPS has sponsored a summer meal program for more than 30 years.
