Greetings King Families–

My name is Cory Heaberlin. I have been in education since 2003.  I have attended both Iowa State University and Drake University.  My wife, Sally and I have four children.  Their names are Gus, Ruby, Rosie and Eliza.  Outside of work, I spend a lot of time reading, playing the guitar and hanging out with our kids.  In addition to this, I am pretty passionate about grilling.  I look forward to working with you and your family this year.  Please let me know if I can do anything to help you in educating your student.

My name is Renita Lord. I started with Des Moines Schools in 2006  . I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Iowa State University and Master’s in Education Leadership from Drake University.

My husband, Mike and I have three children. Their names are Alexa, Gabriella and Michael. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and attending ISU games. We are huge fans!!
